VERSES OF THANKSGIVING
God’s Word gives us many
reasons to regard EVERY DAY
as a day of praise and thanksgiving.
Psalm 26:7
“I
will publish with the voice
of
thanksgiving,
and
tell
of
all thy wondrous works”
Psalm 92:1
“It
is a good thing to give thanks
unto
the lord,
and
to sing praises unto thy name,
O
most high.”
Psalm 95:1-3
“O
come, let us sing unto the Lord:
let
us make a joyful noise
to
the rock of our salvation.
Let
us come before His presence
with
thanksgiving,
and
make a joyful noise unto him with
with
Psalms;
for
the Lord is a great God,
and a
great King above all gods.”
Psalm
113:1-3
“Praise ye the Lord.
Praise, O ye servants of the Lord,
praise the Name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord
from
this time forth
and
forevermore.
From
the rising of the sun
unto
the going down of the same
the
Lord’s name
is to
be praised.”
Psa. 119:62
“At
midnight I will rise to give thanks
unto
Thee
because of Thy righteous judgments.
I am
a companion of all them that fear Thee,
and
of them that keep
Thy
precepts.
The
earth, O Lord, is full of Thy mercy:
teach
me thy statutes.”
2 Cor. 9:15
“Thanks be unto God for His
unspeakable gift.”
Psalm 107:8
“Oh
that men
would
praise the Lord
for
His goodness, and for His
wonderful works to the children of men.”
Psalm 147
“It
is good to sing praises unto our God;
for
it is pleasant,
and
praise is comely.”
1 Cor.
15:57-58
“But
thanks be to God,
Who
giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren,
be ye steadfast, unmovable,
always abounding
in
the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know
that
your
labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Ephesians.
5:20
“Giving thanks always for all things
unto
God and the Father
in
the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2
Corinthians 2:14
“Now thanks be unto God
Who always
causeth us to triumph in
Christ,
and maketh manifest the
Savour of His knowledge
by us
in every place.”
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
“We give thanks to God
always
for you all,
making mention of you in
our prayers,
remembering without
ceasing
your work and labour of
love,
and the patience of hope
in our Lord Jesus
Christ,
in the sight of God
and our Father.”
1 Timothy
4:4-5
“For every creature of
God is good,
and nothing to be
refused,
if it be received with
thanksgiving,
for it is sanctified by
by the Word of God and
prayer.”
Colossians
2:6-7
“As ye have therefore
received
Christ Jesus the Lord
so walk ye in Him:
rooted and built up in
Him
and stablished in the
faith,
as ye have been taught,
abounding therein
with
thanksgiving.”
Psalm 116:17

the sacrifice of
thanksgiving,
and will call upon
the Name of the Lord.”

for He is good:
because His mercy
endureth for ever.
Psalm 69:30,
32

of God
with a song,
and will magnify Him
with thanksgiving.

this,
and be glad
and your heart
shall live
and seek God.”

with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with
praise:
be thankful unto Him,
and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
and His
mercy is everlasting;
and His truth endureth
to
all generations.”
